What we're looking for in candidates
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial services. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to review and verify financial data, identify discrepancies, and maintain high-quality standards.
Comfortable working with cloud-based software and learning new technologies. Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain accounting concepts clearly to clients and collaborate with team members.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-starter who can manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
Review and book transactions one by one from uploaded receipts and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
Review AI-recommended account classifications and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy.
Answer client questions through our messaging system and provide clarification on transactions when needed.
Ensure financial statements are accurate and up-to-date. Prepare monthly reconciliations and reports.
